Make your visit to St. Editha's even more memorable with a visit to our brand new Cafe and Bookshop. Staffed by volunteers with a focus on ethical, unique items, there is something for everyone!
Cafe
The popular new cafe at St. Editha's offers a range of organic, Fairtrade coffees, speciality teas, home-made cakes, locally produced snacks and more! Situated in the north east corner of the magnificent church, the cafe offers a unique and atmospheric setting to enjoy a short relaxing break.

We aim to provide the highest quality hot drinks in Tamworth, at prices affordable to everyone. All proceeds go directly to supporting the work of the church; come and try our delicious chocolate tea - and do some good at the same time!

Bookshop
When visiting St. Editha’s, take some time to look around Tamworth's only Christian bookshop, which you will find in the north west corner of the church.
We stock a good range of adult bibles with hopefully a version to suit everyone. However, as the number of bibles available is so vast, if you have a particular edition in mind and can’t see what you are looking for, then please ask, and where possible, this can be ordered for you.
We also stock a comprehensive range of childrens’ bibles for all ages. Childrens’ prayer books and Christian story books also feature prominently on the shelves.
If you have a baptism, confirmation or first communion coming up then you will find a wide variety of suitable books and gifts, both for children and adults. Greetings cards for every occasion, all with a short bible text are available too, along with many ideas for small gifts to let the person know that they are being thought of.
If you have no need for any of the above, then a variety of souvenirs of the church are on sale, along with post cards and guide books.
Within the shop we partner with FairTrade to offer a broad range of Fairly Traded foods and craft items. Sales of these products make a massive difference to the Fair Trade producers, as they receive a fair wage, and payments on time through Fair Trading terms.
We are only a small shop, but as you can see, we stock a wide range of items and we are well worth a look.
