Safeguarding

The Parish of Tamworth is committed to safeguarding and we recognise that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

We want everyone at the church to flourish in a safe and secure environment. As a result we take safeguarding very seriously; all of our leaders are DBS checked and all of our activities are subject to risk assessment and regular review.

The Parish of Tamworth has adopted the National and Diocesan Safeguarding Policies. Our Safeguarding Co-ordinator is John Mulvey and he can be  contacted on 07760 367570.

The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links  and information - you can find out more at www.lichfield.anglican.org/safeguarding

If you are concerned that a child or adult  has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who can be contacted on 01543 306030 or out of hours 0303 003 1111 (option 2) or alternatively our parish co-ordinator listed above.

If you  have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the  police on 999 immediately.
